Authorized Users:
Pursuant to Statutory changes to Section 465.189 Florida Statutes, passed during the 2007 legislative session, licensed pharmacists may now administer influenza vaccine to adults. The statute further requires that pharmacists report influenza doses administered to Florida SHOTS. Florida Administrative Code 64B16-26.1031 adopted on March 20, 2008 provides further detail on the law.
